OLD SKOOL MUSIC
Old school music is a form of early hip-hop with a simple rap using disco and funk tracks. Mixing
and scratching was pioneered by Grand Wizard Theodore and other DJs such as Grandmaster Flash.
Grandmaster Flash's Adventures on the Wheels of Steel was composed entirely on the turntables. Old
school hip hop was about partying and having a good time. Battle rap is also another aspect of old school hip-hop. Freestyle
rap from the time of hip hop's old school was different from current freestyle rap, old-school
freestyle raps are rhymes that may not have anything to do with any subject or may go all over the
place.

Great sites for free media downloads are Youtube.com and Flickr.com with a
vast amount of free content.In Ireland local catch up TV can be viewed on
the RTE player, an internet TV catch up service. Google images is also a
great source of images, although much of the material is copyrighted as is also the case on
Flickr, and this cannot be re-used without the agreement of the copyright owner.
